LBP2: How to Make Spiderman Logic

Posted: 23rd April 2012 by coolhappygadder1 in Uncategorized

So, I just figured out how to make Spiderman logic in LBP2.
Please read this, as it is extraordinary.
I’ll tell you how to make it the same way I did here.
Duh, I did make it myself. I don’t steal logic.
Even though I have failed many times, I finally made this and posted how to make it.
Really, just read this.
Many hours were spent testing this.
And I just want to tell you how to make it.
Now read below.
(Acrostic.)

1. The Logic Hologram
Well, this is how I start off on all of the projects like this that don’t require a sackbot, but give you powers. I make a little hologram, just the size of a sackboy’s body, and make it invisible. Then I put a microchip on it. I open the microchip and put a FOLLOWER on it. I make the radius as high as it can go (Which, mind you, takes quite a while). I make the minimum radius zero, and the speed max. The hologram will now follow you wherever you go. This is the LOGIC HOLOGRAM. I will be using this in many of my future tutorials.

2. The Logic
Next, make a piece of white matter in midair. Make it quite small, just a little rectangle. Make sure it’s only one layer thick. Then, make a circle of sponge a little bit below it (on the same layer). Color the circle of sponge white, and add little black lines around it. This will be the WEB. Save the web, and go back to the Logic Hologram. Go into Pause Mode. Place an emitter on the microchip and edit it. Make it emit the web right in front of the hologram so that the sponge will be right in front of it. Next, make a controllinator. Make it a RECIEVER, and make it controlled by nearest player (meaning this will be only for one-player levels). Open the controllinator and connect R1 to the EMITTER. Set the emitter mode to “emit once”. Now, when you press and hold R1, a web will appear and you will grab it and swing on it.

3. Testing and Fixing

Set the emitter to the settings you want, like for how long the web will stay or how many webs you can have at once. Then, set it to unpause mode and go to the start menu. Check “preview” and hop down to the floor. Now press and hold R1. If a web appears and you grab onto it, you are successful. If it does not emit, you made the web emit too far down. Position the web higher and try again. Now, you can swing around the level without a problem. And you’re done! You can also mess with few and gates and some direction splitters and make the webs able to emit two ways.

If you have a suggestion for something I should create, just post it in the comments. Make sure you tell me in detail how you want it to function and look. Thanks.

LBP2: New Level Series (NEED HELP!)

Posted: 17th April 2012 by coolhappygadder1 in Uncategorized

Currently in LBP2, I’m working on a new level series. It will be half gameplay and half cinematic. I have not named it yet, but you can expect it to be out sometime around next year. I will need help, since all I’m really good at is music. If you would like to create online with me, you are welcome to. My PSN name is Coolhappygadder1 (But I like to be addressed as “Gadder”). If you do anything that offends me or that will ruin the level I’m working on, you will be immediately kicked from the party.

Democrats and Republicans (SCHOOL REQUIREMENT)

Posted: 27th March 2012 by coolhappygadder1 in Uncategorized

Americans are extremely unhappy because congress is unable to make laws that are needed, like building roads and paying for education and medical care.

There are two main parties in the American government: Democrats and Republicans. They believe different things. In recent years, American governments have been extremely polarized by the different goals of the main parties to the extent that anything that requires agreement doesn’t happen. The two parties cancel each other out. This is called gridlock.

Democrats believe that everyone should have whatever they need, and the government should pay for it. Also, liberals tend to dream big dreams that only conservatives can afford. In other words, Democrats tend to be poor or have the poor and working people as their main concerns. Republicans are fond of the rich and would like to keep them that way with low taxes and all the power. The numbers of voters on each side is always roughly equal unless one side or the other does something particularly stupid to lose an election. Both sides are good at this.

The Republicans lost the 2009 presidential election because George Bush had thrown away a huge budget surplus he had inherited from the Democrats under Bill Clinton in 2001, by cutting taxes for the rich and dragging us into long, expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that he borrowed to pay for. The result was a severe recession, which only now is beginning to improve. The Democrats tend to lose elections when people are afraid of crime or terrorism and they are seen as weak. The party in power wins when the economy is good.

It’s too bad that politicians can’t vote for the common good instead of along partisan lines. But that is the reality of American politics these days.

Book Report (SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT)

Merlin: The Lost Years is a wonderful fictional book about the legendary wizard Merlin’s childhood.

I loved it very much. It had vibrant words, a good mood and never got a bit boring. It has a little bit of everything: Action, adventure, drama, etc. I loved this book and read it twice. I liked all the characters. The main character was Merlin. He had his face burned in a fire, and he had to use his “second sight” because he was blind. He met a girl named Rhia, a quirky, young girl. She always wore a dress made of vines, as she lived in a forest. Merlin’s mother made healing potions. The horrible ending was a Star Wars twist – the antagonist was Merlin’s father.

This book was just plain awesome, and I definitely recommend it to anyone. I can’t say anything negative about it, apart from having a stupid ending.

Descriptive Paper (SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT)

I have had a yearbook from my second grade class for five years. It was given to me in 2008, when I was in second grade. I was digging around through my boxes when we moved here and I found this at the very bottom. It was long-lost, and I’m going to keep it safe forever.

On the front cover is a picture of a blue locker with sticky notes on it. One big sticky note on the locker says the name of the school I went to, “Christian Family Learning Center”. There are other notes on the locker, such as “meet in cafeteria after science”. It looks like you are about to open a locker, but when you open it…

There are pages of students in grades K-8th in the book, and pages with teachers. I have around three pictures in the book. My brother has four. I am near my old best friends, Christopher and Jeddediah. It reminds me of my best friends to look at these.

School events such as the “Walkathon” and “Pencil Exchange”, where we turned pencils into things like butterflies, are in the book as well. There was friendship week, where people were nice for a week. There was the “A King is Coming to Town” play which I performed in.

When I look inside this book, I remember what it’s like to be in CFLC. In the end of second grade there, I got an award that said “Most Joyful”. That’s the thing I most remember about my time there.

Expository Paper (SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT)

The most important people in my life are my family. I have four brothers, a sister, mom and dad, grandma and grandpa (who is a missionary in Africa, we don’t get to see him much), many, many cousins (my father had around seven brothers and seven sisters), uncle Bob, uncle Gordon, uncle Paul, uncle Alex, aunt Sally, aunt Janet, my godmother Susan, uncle Graham, aunt Jen, you get the point.

My four brothers are Martin, William, John and Evan. My sister is Elise. Martin is currently nine years old, William is seven, John is almost 22, Evan is 23, and Elise is 30. Martin, in my home family of five, is known to be aggressive at times. He doesn’t hesitate to shout at William and me and wake up Evan (who is currently staying with us). Martin broke his arm falling off a trampoline, but it just fixed up. He can’t refrain from saying “shut up” instead of “please be quiet”, also. But he is my brother. And, apparently, he likes sleeping on the floor. William spends most of his time in his room or on the computer. He is absolutely addicted to cruise ships, especially the Titanic. He has a condition called Autism. He is very nice and easy to please. John is our older brother that lives in California. He just got accepted at an engineering school, and mom says he’s going to get a good job.

Dad is 63 and Mom is almost 47. Mom was born in England, and Dad was born in America. Dad just retired from being a doctor. Mom hasn’t had a job in a long time. Mom and dad have been married for 12 years. Dad has seven brothers and seven sisters. Mom had a sister and has two brothers, uncle Graham and uncle Alex. Mom first left Europe in 1988, and it was the first time she ever tasted apple juice. We go back once in a while to see grandma and grandpa.

And finally there’s me. My name is Thomas. Right now I’m 10 years old. I play piano and a little bit of guitar. I was born in Redding, California and have spent most of my life in America, but I lived in England for two and a half years. In my opinion, my best talent is to be able to burp at will. I draw comics and write a lot.

My family is absolutely huge. I think it goes down to Francis Drake. Four brothers, a sister, mom and dad, grandpa, grandma, etc. But they are all the most important thing in my life.

ROBLOX: How to choose a good look for your avatar

Posted: 25th January 2012 by coolhappygadder1 in Uncategorized

When you start off on ROBLOX, you’re a guy with a big R on your chest and a hat. Most people don’t think that looks cool.

Herre is how to look AWESOME.

1. Save your tix for smaller things. Buy cheap shirts for 1 or 2 tix. Most of them look good.

2. Don’t get T-Shirts. They look dumb.

3. Look natural. Although I look like an alien on ROBLOX (I’m actually an alien in ROBLOX), people think I’m just a cheap noob. Color your whole body in a shade of skin, white to black.

4. Don’t get those muscle shirts. They just look dumb.

5. GET THAT “Chill” FACE. IT’S FREEEEEEEEEEEE!

6. Don’t worry about hats until you have BC. There is no such thing as a cheap hat.

7. Don’t buy pants that cover up your shirt.

8. When choosing pants, choose jeans. They look cool.

9. CHOOSE A COOL USERNAME. Don’t make every letter capital, don’t use the words “cool”, “awesome”, or “lol” in the username. But capatalize the first letter of every word. This is an ideal username: “MarioYoshi6″.

10. While you can, keep on the hat. The only thing worse than wearing the hat is wearing nothing on your head.

There. Those should help you look good.

ROBLOX: 5 Gunfighting Tips

Posted: 25th January 2012 by coolhappygadder1 in Uncategorized

1. Never shoot up close.

2. Always have a clear shot. If you miss, you will die.

3. If you are a sniper, do not let anyone see you. Also, only shoot when they are standing still.

4. Don’t use the planes with missiles. You will get shot down.

5. Don’t walk straight at your enemy. Also, it’s not a good idea to camp. Move occasionally into a new cover.
